Using the measures and guidelines provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I understand that Canterbury Farm has put in place enhanced health and safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. I also understand that Canterbury Farm cannot guarantee that I or my child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. By signing this agreement and visiting and using the facilities of Canterbury Farm, I acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Canterbury Farm LLC, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the facility, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Canterbury Farm program.
The purchaser of this ticket shall assume all the risks of injury or loss caused by the inherent risk of skiing. The purchaser of this ticket purchases and uses it with the understanding that skiing is a hazardous sport, that bare spots, ice, changing snow bumps, stumps, stones, trees, water and other hazards and obstructions exist at any ski area, and the purchaser is presumed to know the existence of unavoidable risks inherent in the sport of skiing.
The purchaser shall be presumed to know the range of his or her ability to ski on any slope, trail or area. The purchaser of this ticket recognizes these hazards, whether marked or unmarked, and realizes that falls and collisions are common and numerous and can result in injuries caused in part or in whole by the negligence and carelessness of fellow skiers, and will not hold the Canterbury Farms responsible for any injuries suffered while skiing at the area, and agrees to indemnify Canterbury Farm from any claims or causes of action as a result of the purchaser's collision with another skier or person. The purchaser assumes all risk of loss of personal property while at the area, whether by skiing accident, theft, or any other cause.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren), others in my group for which I am signing for or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my group’s attendance at Canterbury Farm or participation in the Farm’s activities.
I have read and agree to the above Waiver and Release of Liability.
